Augustin Grisier was a French Assassin of African heritage and the fencing master in the Café Théâtre owned by Arno Dorian.
One day, a servant girl of the Café Théâtre saw Augustin and Charlotte Gouze together and reported it to the intendant, who told her to stay out of their business.
Trivia
- Grisier is loosely based on the fencing master of the same name, who was good friends with the writer Alexandre Dumas, the son of Thomas-Alexandre Dumas.
