As for ''Red Faction'', THQ no longer wishes to continue with the franchise because ''Red Faction: Armageddon'' didn't sell as much as they expected it to. Why drop the Animus and its subjects? They could still use Subject 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and maybe even 16 as protagonists. As for Red Faction, THQ no longer wishes to continue with the franchise because Red Faction: Armageddon didn't sell as much as they expected it to. However, THQ also dropped the franchise in 2002 after the release of Red Faction II and released Red Faction: Guerrilla in 2009, so they may come back to it in a few years.
