Atasá:ta, also known as Chogan or Krynn, was an individual of Mohawk descent, who was raised away from his nation by his Assassin father and taught in the art of hunting and murder, using the skills to survive.

He lived a quiet, secret life until his father was killed by a Templar raiding party. Following this, Atasá:ta roamed the Templar-controlled cities, always looking for a chance at revenge.[1]

In 2012, his genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the entertainment branch of the Templar company Abstergo Industries, to influence the general public via the Animus games console, under the title of the Silent Shadow.[2]
