Murder at the Palace!
- The dialogue for holding Raymond at gunpoint, after he's kidnapped Artie, cuts off and transitions to the other Frye before Raymond can finish his sentence, Page has a mad-lib fill in, but I don't actually know how that sentence ends. Maybe a text dump/different version can find the answer?
AC Origins
The King of Kings – Nefertari dialogue, which fires under as-yet undetermined circumstances. W/o reloadable saves, hard to isolate a trigger
After speaking to Nefertari:
- Nefertari: You are the cup bearer of the Keeper of Harmony. Set free the spoils of war and return his Hemset [no period] The Ka of Ozymandias. Be furious in wrath, take it from those who hide it. It must stride on the sands.
^ This is the instructions for Pharoah's Ka, but it's on the Pharaoh's Hemset page. Should they go on King of Kings and be rid of the confusion?
- Nefertari: Side by side they [likely "they" = Hemset and Ka together] must ascend into the deathless feathers [either Ra or Ma'at, but this is a reference to the soul ascending to the afterlife]. And summon the ba, the traverser of worlds.k
^The Ba is the physical form, in Ramesses' case it is his armored human form, but for Nefertari it's the bird with a human head. Strange, but I didn't write Egyptian myth.]
Traveled north a little bit, near the Pavilion of Judgement, then...
- Nefertari: His throne remembers him, between the two scepters, this dignity of his spirit.
At the Battlefield of Kadesh
- Nefertari: You bring my dearheart closer to peace.
Performing a Leap of Faith from the viewpoint...
- Nefertari: The face of the god is open, revealed.
Near the underground Scorpion Lair where an eye (Ka) is found...
- Nefertari: The sky is overcast, the stars darkened.
In the scorpion lair, recovering the eye...
- Nefertari: Elect of Ra! His servant bears down upon you, carries his yoke. Keen your blade, cup-bearer.
^Elect of Ra means "Chosen of Ra," which was a title for Ramesses. Who is Ra's servant? The scorpion? What about Serqet? Yoke = plank used to bind two beasts of burden together at the neck to pull a load. Cup-bearer = Bayek.
Also, a scroll in the tomb...
- I have seen things...: Things that cannot be believed. Chariots aflame, struck down by the bow of Orion. Imperishable stars, dying eternally. And through it all this frail world, held together by spider's silk, teetering on the edge of nothingness.
Using Senu to survey the Battlefield of Kadesh...
- Nefertari: There is no god, no god in the stars, who has not his companion by his side. Shall I be thy companion?
^Is she... volunteering to take Senu's place?
Collecting the right eye/second eye at the Maryannu Camp...
- Nefertari: He sees the sapphire, the cerulean, the turquoise as stars. The dust veil lifted from his eyes.
- Nefertari: The cunning must feast upon their own tail.
Releasing a Ba from the Siege of Dapur...
No dialogue from Bayek like the quest page suggests. But it does trigger after walking into the main area of the siege.
- Bayek: The spoils of war? These are the Bas of People taken captive during Ramesses' battles.
Releasing a different Ba, but not the last one...
- Nefertari: Merciful is he! His Hemset freed, falling from the firmament unto the sand.
- Nefertari: Thou art become victorious and filled every atom with thy beauty.
- Nefertari: Encompass the heaven, the earth, all things in thine arms.
Releasing another Ba.
- Nefertari: Cobalt stars in the empyrean. Let they imperishable ka be seated.
^Is this delayed from the Ka quest? In my playthrough, it was fully completed before this point.
That's all I found.

Safe Passage
Listing the Ikaros sightings of the eight trinkets. Probably not necessary, since the game only has so many stock phrases for finding objects and thus re-uses them here.
Starting from facing south from the dock, after speaking to the drunken foreman, and working east from the nearest on the player's right:
- Rightmost/westernmost, near the rock – There it is!
- In the caves in the center of the encampment, in a shallow pool – Found it!
- Past the camps, nearest in the shallows of the lagoon under a rock – Here it is.
- Deeper in lagoon, near a wrecked ship and a shark – That's what I'm looking for.
- Under a rock out at sea north of previous trinket – There it is!
- Out at sea near the sharks – I see it.
- Slightly further east from previous trinket – Found it!
- Bushes on the easternmost part of Shipwreck Cove – That's what I'm looking for.
Atlantis
Elysium
Holy hell, this is Delos all over again! I... do not have the wherewithal to do this whole episode multiple times. I'll do my ideal run, fact-check the claims made in online walkthroughs, and leave notes of variables I believe will have significant effects on dialogue. We could really use text dumps...
- Primary master save file for exploring dialogue should have:
- All viewpoints synchronized—especially Dionysian Hemicycle for easy access to Mausoleum of the Kingless Queen.
- All Marble Maidens found and broken—they don't lower Influence enough by themselves to force Hermes' quests, and there's a nasty bug where there locations load as cleared but without a statue to break, preventing the "Blasphemer" trophy.
- All four Keeper's Insights found—Veiled Altar of Hermes will prematurely update The Keeper and Key Maker but doesn't otherwise affect dialogue—and Marble Maiden tributes destroyed, if player so desires.
- Gaia's Underpass "solved".
- A Lover and A Fighter begun, completed through clearing of Fortress of the Three Sisters, but before returning to Adonis.
Clear Iphigenia's Compound as well to greatly reduce influence in Pheraia's Retreat. Late quest takes place here, but shouldn't affect dialogue. Influence is likely the variable behind auto-starting Hermes' quests. In Scenario A, killed Atalanta when retrieving the eternal flame recipe, took a significant chunk of Influence out of Minos' Faith. 'Keeper, a Killer' began immediately. Relaoded to Scenario B, just retrieved the recipe and left, Influence remained high, did not auto-start.
- Secondary save file (should save 40-60 min. of running around) should be set:
- Completion of "Wave 1" quests i.e. "Meet Your Makers"—Lover and Fighter, Sudden and New, Dark Horse, Keeper and Key Maker, with decisions set for Adonis—to take the first Flirt or not—and horse.
- Completion of Dead Kings and Pretty Things up to second Flirt. Available w/o taking first.
- Completion of The Keeper and Kyros up to talking to Kyros at the crossroads. Do not kill rebels for "best" results. Hell, don't even get detected.
- Completion of Good News up to recruiting Silver Tongue. Liberate Theron for "best" results, though he doesn't seem to affect much after Have Another Drink.
- Need to maintain friendship with him for "best" ending, which allows skipping the boss fight against him in the final memory.
- Being late to Heart of Elysium meeting doesn't negatively affect anything, by the looks of it, regardless of dialogue choice. The only determining factor is killing the two captains/all witnesses, and responding positively to his final statement.
- Got detected & killed enemies in Mausoleum, was still flagged as "undetected." It appears to be dependent on aggroing multiple enemies and/or leaving dead bodies (Assassination w/ the passive from Legacy deletes dead bodies)
- Notes on Adonis:
- Killing rebels during Hermes' quests will affect the relationship negatively, but no dialogue reflects this during 'Dead Kings and Pretty Things' or 'Persephone's Little Birds' as a result of this. It will be strictly in 'The Beacons are Lit' and beyond, if at all.
- References Orphnaeus if he was given to the rebel cause. The rest of Dead Kings/Pretty Things is straightforward. Flirt option available even w/o first one.
- Flirting with him and coming on strong doesn't seem to be too detrimental, save for the Flirt option in 'Little Birds.' Encouraging him to forget about Aphrodite definitely backfires, given the context.
- Little Birds – Messenger is the true threat, but blacksmith works for Aphrodite, need to kill latter for unique dialogue/romance progression.
- Eternal Flame isn't given until just before the battle, if the corresponding option was taken in 'Keeper and Flame'.
- Persephone quest sits between 'Birds' and 'Beacons'. Final romance outcome is dictated in Beacons.
- Shagging Adonis is enough to ensure his worst ending, regardless of any potential fallout dialogues afterwards.
- Notes on Persephone:
- Leonidas or Kyros - At the end of the episode she reneges on her promise to bring back the loved one, so spare Leonidas. How does Kyros' death affect the rebellion? Leonidas is alive to join the fight, but if Kyros is kept alive and not exposed, what happens? Google seems to do a bad job of answering this.
- Seems to affect Adonis' self-doubt during 'Beacons'
- After reviewing some YouTube playthroughs (do I need to cite them and provide credit?), there seems to be at least three variables, each worth one "point" that needs to work against Hekate by a majority score.
- Message from the Silver Tongue - Hekate is our ally.
- Lethe's water - Destroy it.
- Popular - Fail to poison the crowd. Either get caught or blow the whistle on yourself.
- Breaking into the sanctuary in Sudden and New is always brought up.
- At the end, a single Success/Failure outcome comment based on sum total. So each choice is self-contained, at least.
Hypothesis: If Hekate is still trusted, Adonis will be burned. If not, he will be allowed to leave, face intact. Unless the player romances him. Then he'll be burned even worse than if Hekate was still trusted, regardless of her fate.
Finally, Give 'Em Hades must be completed. If left til the end, will prevent starting Adonis' final quest and the Conquest Battle. At the same time, it's a good buffer to get more time to complete Free Their Minds, the Rest Will Follow.
Underworld
- Much shorter, much more streamlined, thank god. Ironic how the realm of "order" was so freeform and open-ended, whereas the realm of "chaos" was so rigid.
- Consider running the side quests after defeating Hades. He doesn't show up at points where he should, might be interesting to note. Or, we can forego those results since, canonically-speaking, Kassandra moves on from realm to realm and never goes back.
Judgment of Atlantis
- Just collecting
30 29 GB worth of footage now. I'll bum-rush the trophies and reset from square one to wrap up everything in Greece.
- Since the Knowledge Sequence dictates a good chunk of where you can go and what you can do at given points, consider filling it before trying to run the quests.
Back in vanilla
The Conqueror
Cultist clue on Stentor – contents and acquisition, use in exposing the Cultist King during A Bloody Feast. Also, a couple more responses to fill in on the "Nikolaos intervenes" path.
Maybe do the Roxana stuff again? Apparently she has comments during the Thasos quest line.
Complete but maybe not
He Waits - In one of the closing dialogue permutations with Ardos, there's mention of the player finding their mother. Path is 'Don't find Nikios in the tomb' -> Truthfully telling Ardos he couldn't be found -> 'Never lose hope'. If this quest can be done prior to finding Myrrine, does this change?
