And like I said, the Byzantines grew fond of emphasising their Hellenic heritage, it became pretty popular during and after the Latin Occupation for them to call themselves Hellenes. Palaiologos crest
I know the real-life crest for the Palaiologos dynasty is the same as shown here, but should we add a bit of trivia about the center resembling an Apple of Eden? --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 10:58, October 20, 2012 (UTC)
