Yang Xuan (楊暄; died 756) was a son of Yang Guozhong, the Tang Chancellor of the Right and leader of the Golden Turtles. During his father's premiership, he served as the vice minister of finance (戶部侍郎) to Emperor Xuanzong. Both he and his brother Yang Xi were also members of the Golden Turtles like their father.[1]
In 756, Yang Xuan, along with the other Golden Turtles, were killed at Mawei Station by Assassins led by Li E in retaliation for their sabotage of the resistance against the An Lushan Rebellion. The ambush inspired a mutiny by Tang soldiers escorting the royal entourage in their flight from Chang'an that massacred the rest of his family.[1]
