Xiphos of Peleus

The Xiphos of Peleus was a legendary xiphos obtained by the misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.

Allegedly belonging to Peleus, a mythological King of the Myrmidons in Thessaly, the sword was kept in a chest in Artemisia Fort. It was retrieved by Spartan misthios Kassandra when she visited the fort during the war.[1]
