The Witan Hall was an Anglo-Saxon great hall, used by the Witan, in Wincestre, Hamtunscire.
History
In 877, the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir arrived at the Witan Hall to stop Bishop Ealhferth from enacting his assassination plot on King Alfred. Despite the multiple decoys, Eivor figured out who was the real bishop and assassinated the Order Preost. After both Alfred and the Reeve Goodwin thanked her for her intervention, Eivor was soon met by the bishop's sister, Harriet.
