The Walking Stick was a staff which belonged to Ide, an elderly Makedonian woman living in Amphipolis. Despite what this was called, walking was not the only thing this staff helped her with.
Around 429 BCE, the staff ended up in the hands of the Spartan misthios Kassandra after she discovered Ide dead, killed by one of the mercenaries she'd despised.[1]

| Judging from the faint bloodstains on the shaft of this scepter, the old lady who this belonged to used it for more than just walking. | ||||
Behind the scenes
The Walking Stick, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey's DLC Legacy of the First Blade: Hunted, shares the same model as the commonly found Shepherd's Cane, another weapon in the same game. These are both the recycled model of the Peasant's Scepter, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
