The Vineyard of Glory was a vineyard located on a foothill on the Greek island of Thasos.
In classical antiquity, the wine produced on this vineyard was considered one of the best in the ancient world and it was exported throughout the Mediterranean basin, including Magna Grecia, Egypt and as far as the Black Sea.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the vineyard was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
