Valeria was the wife of the Gallo-Roman Assassin Aquilus.
After Aquilus had avenged his father's death, he returned home to his wife, Valeria. After they had shared an intimate moment, Aquilus explained to his wife what the Ankh was and what it did. He then activated the Ankh and it showed him a message from his father, who had recorded it just before his death.
During these events they were interrupted by a group of soldiers who arrested both of them, and brought to a forest to be executed. However, Accipiter, Aquilus' cousin and a fellow Assassin, previously caught wind of the arrest and had followed the soldiers. During Accipiter's assault, Aquilus was killed, and Accipiter took Valeria and Aquilus' corpse with him.
Valeria later explained to Accipiter what had happened, but that she didn't remember how to use the Ankh. Accipiter advised her to hide the artifact, and Valeria went to Monteriggioni where she hid the Ankh.
