The tomahawk was a type of axe used by Native Americans in North America, which was most effective in close combat.
During the American Revolutionary War, the Mohawk Assassin Connor Kenway used a tomahawk with a head resembling the Assassin insignia. He would often dual-wield it alongside another weapon, such as the short blade.
