Arsinoë IV of Egypt (between 68 and 63 BCE – 41 BCE) was the youngest daughter of Ptolemy XII Auletes and co-ruler of Egypt with her brother Ptolemy XIII from 48 to 47 BCE.

In 48 BCE, the Roman general Julius Caesar arrived in Alexandria, where he decided to arbitrate the dispute between Ptolemy and his sister Cleopatra over the throne of Egypt.[1] Siding with Cleopatra, he was besieged by Ptolemy's general Achillas while Ptolemy and Arsinoë were held captive inside the royal palace.[2]
