The Arsinoe Nome was a nome of Egypt, situated on the Sinai, north of Klysma Nome. It was set up along the pharaoh's canal and the Way of Horus, connecting Egypt to Judea. It was named after Arsinoe II, the sister and second wife of Ptolemy II Philadelphus. It's capital was also called Arsinoe.
History
