Thrym's House

Thrym's House was the ruined former abode of the jötunn Þrymr in Jötunheimr.

History

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Jotunheim, Odin went to investigate the abandoned, flooded domicile. There, he investigated and dove into the waters to search for Thor's circlet which he had used to fool Þrymr. Following a quick search, he found Thor's bridal circlet on a dead body and recovered it to give to Gunlodr[1] While in the area, he dove further into the waters and found a chest that contained one of Ymir's Blood Stones, then obtained another one from a second chest he uncovered behind a stone structure near the house.[2]
