Trivia

  • It is worth noting that the Sword of Altair and Condottiero War Hammer can only be purchased from the blacksmith shop in Monteriggioni; No other blacksmith in the game carries them.
  • Monteriggioni's Blacksmith sells every weapon available after Sequence 11, apart from the Condottiero War Hammer which is only available after collecting 50 feathers.
  • The old Syrian Sword looks exactly the same as Altair's final and best sword from the first Assassin's Creed.
  • The "grab kill" of the mace is similar to the swords'. It's possible that the sharp end of the mace is used to achieve this.
  • In Assassin's Creed II, the Syrian Sword does less damage than the Sword of Altair, despite the Syrian Sword being the best sword in the first game and the Sword of Altair being weaker in the first game.
    • This may be due to it being made of the same metal as his armor instead of being his original sword.
