The Stenyklaros Checkpoint was a small military outpost situated on the road between Messene and Aipeia in Messenia, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the camp was used as a Order of Dominion campsite during their occupation of the region. Around 422 BCE. the misthios Kassandra travelled to the camp site and eliminated the Order guards.[1]

Trivia
