Stefano da Bagnone (1418 - 1479) is one of the Pazzi conspirators who attempted to murder Lorenzo de' Medici. He was a monk and a secretary to Jacopo de Pazzi, and one of the men whom Jacopo hired to kill Lorenzo. It was he who stabbed Lorenzo in the back at the Duomo. Known for his cruelty towards others, Stefano was trained in Rome as a Templar Butcher. After the death of Francesco de' Pazzi, he flees to Tuscany (the countryside near San Gimignano) and hides in the Monte Oliveto Maggiore, a monastery near San Gimignano.
