The Spear of Lashing

The Spear of Lashing was a spear that belonged to a Spartan family. Passed down through generations, the spear served the family well.

In 429 BCE, the Spartan misthios Kassandra acquired the spear after helping King Pausanias of Sparta eliminate three rebellious members of the krypteia.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
