A Narrow Escape was a virtual representation of one of Ezio Auditore da Firenze's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.
Description
Ezio Auditore found his weapons and made his way along the Masyaf fortress' battlements by the guidance of his Mentor Altaïr Ibn La'Ahad's spirit, eliminating any Byzantine guards who tried to confront him. Eventually he found the pool located behind the fortress and dived into it.
There, he discovered a tunnel beneath and proceeded to explore.
Dialogue
As Ezio fled the tower, Leandros angrily shouted orders from above.
- Leandros: (coughing) Get him, you fools! Kill that bastard!
Look everywhere, top to bottom! I want him dead!
Ezio! I'm going to dig your heart out with a shovel and feed it to you!
Damn this blizzard, he could be anywhere!
What the hell are you standing around for? Make yourselves useful!
Trivia
- If replaying the memory or accessing it via a new session after receiving the Hookblade, the memory will show Ezio pick up his weaponry as usual, but the bracer containing the second Hidden Blade will be replaced with a bracer equipped with a Hookblade. However, the cutscene will show the broken blade and it is not usable during rest of the memory.
