Drummers are soldiers seen in both the British and Continental armies during the American Revolutionary War.
Combat
They are usually accompanied by five or more soldiers, but occasionally can be seen marching with a single officer. When their unit is attacked, they will usually run from the battlefield to call for reinforcements.
