It celebrated the victory of the tyrant of Sikyon, Kleisthenes during the First Sacred War. The treasury was decorated with depictions of legends and myths, like the Argonauts' expedition.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the treasury was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[1]
