Sigurd (Old Norse: Sigurðr) or Siegfried (Middle High German: Sîvrit) is a legendary hero of Norse mythology.

Biography

According to Norse legend, Sigurd killed the dragon Fafnir from behind.[1]

Legacy

Sigurd was mentioned by Olav the Unlucky in 876 to Eivor Varinsdottir.[1]
