Shapur the Unforgiving (died c. 420s BCE) was a Persian mercenary who operated in Greece during the Peloponnesian War.

Before getting involved in the war, he was known for attacking rich merchants and robbing them of their most precious possesssions.  Recently he killed Samir the Nomad, one of the richest merchants.

While said conflict was ongoing, Shapur crossed paths with the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who killed the former after accepting a bountry contract on him.[1]
