At that point, as Shalim joined Shahar, Altaïr found out they were in fact twin brothers, not the same person. Maria fled shortly after, leaving both the twin brothers to fight against the lone Assassin. Shalim and Shahar began their fight confidently, sure to quickly overwhelm their opponent, as both of them were adapt with the blade. Shahar was the twin brother of Shalim, the son of Moloch, and one of Armand Bouchart's closest men. He was a young nobleman identical in appearance and dress to his brother Shalim.
