Rollendritch

Rollendritch was a standing stone located in Glowecestrescire, England.

History

In the 6th century, the Irish monk Brendan of Clonfert found the structure during one of his pilgrimages. Brendan prayed at the sight, where he felt the light and heard a familiar voice once again. Brendan heard the voice speak to him as he learned of the existence of "rebel angels" that came before. At the site, Brendan left the symbol of an dara celtic knot, leaving his mark and notes for future pilgrims.

Nearly three centuries later, the site was visited by the Viking Eivor Varinsdottir, who read Brendan's note and discovered the secret symbol was only visible with Eagle Vision, before continuing on her travels in England.

During her pledge to Glowecestrescire, Eivor tried to clear her name of the recent assumed murder of Tewdwr. From her search and information from a druid named Halewyn, Eivor went to meet Mother Modron at the standing stone. Modron detailed that the soldiers of Glowecestre were looking for her and asked of Halewyn's info. Divulging that Gwilim obtained a heavy sleeping potion and the hideout was called "Cudd Lladron," Eivor was told by Modron that the name was the Welsh translation for the Thieves' Warren. From their discussion, Modron led Eivor towards Thieves' Warren to find out what happened to Tewdwr.
