Robert Faulkner (born 1715) was an elderly sailor, and Connor Kenway's first mate aboard the Aquila. Although he was the fourth generation in his family to become a sailor, he was first to be recruited into the Assassin Order.
He began his career in the Royal Navy. But due to him not being able to purchase commissions, he left to work for the United Company of Merchants.
Faulkner was First Mate onboard the Aquila when it was nearly destroyed in 1768. He had a strong bond towards the ship which brought him to having it towed to a location near Boston.
