Reginald Birch (1705 – 1757) was the Grand Master of the British Rite of the Templar Order, and an English businessman. He started his business at a young age. By the time he reached his mid-20s he already owned several merchant ships, mainly involving dealing tea to the American colonies. Later in life, Birch owned several businesses around London.

Birch met Haytham Kenway, son of Birch's Assassin rival Edward Kenway, at a young age. He recruited Haytham into the Templars after the death of Edward Kenway, and personally trained him. In 1754, after Haytham retrieved the key to the then unknown Grand Temple, Birch secured passage to Boston for Haytham to find the First Civilization storehouse and establish a permanent Templar presence in British America. Birch was eventually killed by Haytham after the latter discovered Birch's involvement in the kidnapping of Haytham's sister Jenny and the murder of his father.
