Eivor wearing the mythical Reaper Armor Set

The Reaper's Armor Set was a set of armor that had its pieces spread across the regions of late 9th century West Francia. Between 885 and 888, the jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir obtained the armor pieces by aiding Toka Sinricsdottir's advisor Pierre in Frankish rebel missions in Melunois, Paris, Evresin, and Amienois. Eivor would then use the deniers she had earned as rewards to pay the rebels for the armor after they deemed her to have attained a sufficient reputation amongst themselves.[1]
