Ranger's Sword

The Ranger's Sword was a sword which originally belonged to a ranger in Lakonia. During the Peloponnesian War, the sword was in the possession of Xanthe, the magistrate of the Spartan village Pitana.

After the Spartan misthios Kassandra helped Xanthe by assisting several Spartans around the state, the magistrate gave the sword to Kassandra as a reward.[1]

Description
The discreet existence of a ranger is replicated in their choice of blade.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Ranger's Sword, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as the Rusted Battle Sword, another weapon in the same game. In addition, the Ancient Battle Sword also shares the model, but bears a different finish as well as icon. These are all the recycled model of Conductor of Souls/Sunslayer/Sword of the Duat, weapons in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
