The Qattara Depression (Arabic: منخفض القطارة‎‎ Munḫafaḍ al-Qaṭṭārah) is a geographical depression in the north-west region of Egypt. Layla Hassan journeys here in 2017 on a mission to find an important ancient artifact but instead found the preserved mummies of Bayek of Siwa and his spouse Aya of Alexandria in the Hotep Cavern.
