The Princesa do Céu (English: Princess of Heaven) was a legendary ship encountered by the pirate Alonzo Batilla in the Caribbean, during the early 18th century.
The Princesa do Céu was tasked to protect the merchant ships near the Portuguese colonies in the Caribbean. During her time, she was one of the most advanced and strongest ship of the Portuguese Navy. Her hull was made with reinforced lead and iron plates and heavily relied on it's cannons. The Princesa do Céu was eventually sunk by Alonzo Batilla.
Trivia
- It is possible that this ship is based on it's real life counterpart, which was a Portuguese ship-of-the-line with the same name. The real ship was built on 1700 and possibly discarded in 1718.
