Poseidon's Trident

Poseidon's Trident was a trident which was said to belong to Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea.

A weapon coveted by sailors, the trident granted its wielder the ability to breathe underwater. During the Peloponnesian War the trident was found by the Spartan misthios Kassandra in a chest within the Temple of Poseidon on Island of Triton, between Chios and Samos in the Aegean Sea.[1]
