Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service?

This article is in desperate need of a revamp. Please improve it in any way necessary in order for it to achieve a higher standard of quality in accordance with our Manual of Style.

Anuke (died 38 BCE) was an Egyptian woman during the reign of Cleopatra. She was the wife of Het, an Egyptian man Bayek met in Aaru. Her named changed to Yinepu before entering the afterlife and was unable to join her husband in Aaru. The Medjay Bayek aided Het in conducting a ren ritual, this time with her changed name.

Entering the Afterlife

Anuke was denied entrance to the afterlife after her name was changed to Yinepu. Her husband, not knowing this, conducted the ren ritual with the wrong name and was unable to reunite with her. He tried countless times and all seemed to have failed until he met the medjay and Hidden One Bayek who offered to help in reuniting the two lovers. Bayek, believing something was wrong with the Annuls of the Gate, entered the Lodge of Names and there it was revealed her name was changed to Yinepu. Upon this discovery, Bayek then conducted the ren ritual again with the right name releasing Anuke's ren. He followed it until it went inside the body of an Anubis soldier. Bayek released it by assassinating the soldier. This caused Anuke's spirit to succesfully enter the afterlife and reunite with her husband.

Death

Anuke's death is revealed after Bayek releases the ren from the Anubis soldiers body. It shows Anuke died trying to fight off two bandits after witnessing them beating and harrassing an innocent woman. She managed to succesfully kill one of the bandits by stabbing him in the back. However she wasn't able to kill the second one, after she tried to attack the second bandit, he got a hold of her and snapped her neck. He watched her fall lifeless to the ground before running away. After witnessing this flashback Bayek sees Anubis Appear behind Anuke explaining that she was 'his sword' for a milennia and now she has earned her rest. Anuke smiled and gave a thankful nod to Bayek before being set free.
