The Pilgrim was one of seven legendary ships encountered by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac in the North Atlantic, during the Seven Years' War. She was captained by Joseph Reed.
The Pilgrim and her sister ship, the Cauldron were one of the few pirate vessels left after the decline of the Golden Age of Piracy. When either one of them were sunk, the surviving were set herself alight to charge at the enemy ship with relentless attacks. She and her sister ship were sunk by Cormac's ship, the Morrigan in naval combat.
Trivia
- The Pilgrim and the Cauldron re-uses the same models as those of the HMS Fearless and the Royal Sovereign from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with some modifications such as color scheme.
- The Pilgrim and the Cauldron are one of the few ships to have a defensive weapon on the stern: the burning oil.
