Paris is a city in France.

History

Renaissance

During the Renaissance, a guild of the Assassin Order was based in the city and received aid from the Roman Assassins Guild for several important assassination contracts.

In 1527, Giovanni Borgia and Maria Amiel traveled to Paris in order to find the second half of The Book, which was used by Nicolas Flamel in order to turn lead into gold but they remained unsuccessful.

Modern times

Sometime towards the end of the 19th century, Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers, accompanied by the disembodied being of William Robert Woodman, met one of the Secret Chiefs in Paris who informed him that their partnership with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn had ended.

Trivia

• Paris is also the name of a character from Greek mythology, mostly known for judging the beauty of Juno, Minerva, and Venus, which eventually lead to the fall of Troy during the Trojan War.
