- "I'm going to teach you how to survive."
- ―Paola, to Ezio
Paola is the leader of the "Courtesans" (prostitutes) of which her brothel is situated in Florence.
Description
She lost her parents, who were assassins, at age 8 when they were killed at sea. Left with a choice between joining a nunnery and prostitution, she began a life on the streets.
At 16, she vanished from the records, only to reappear at age 20 when she was arrested for murdering a city guard. On an interesting note, Giovanni Auditore represented her in court, winning the case on a self defence plea.
Released from prison, Paola went on to start her own brothel to protect many other unfortunate women of the street.
Trivia
- She is revealed to be an Assassin when you fight The Spaniard in Venice.
- In her trial for the murder of the corrupt guard, Ezio's father Giovanni represented her.
