Annetta (1457 - 1511) was the Auditore family servant and the sister of Paola.[1]

Biography

Early life

At an early age, Annetta and Paola lost their parents when they were killed at sea. While Paola chose a life in prostitution, Annetta was allowed to become the live-in maid of the Auditore family in Florence, who were secretly a family of Assassins.[1]

Auditore execution

In 1476, Giovanni, Federico, and Petruccio Auditore were executed on false crimes of treason. Ezio Auditore, the remaining male member of the family, asked Annetta to bring his mother and sister to a safe place, to which she suggested her sister's house. Meeting Ezio there, she was amused by his reaction once he saw that her sister ran a brothel.[1]

Later life

She later came to live with the Auditore family again, this time at the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni, where Ezio had escorted his family.[2]

Some time after, Annetta chose to move back to Florence to stay with her sister, Paola, until her death around 1511.[3][4]
