Palazzo Medici

The Palazzo Medici is the palace of the Medici family in Florence. It can be explored in Assassin's Creed II as a Secret Location, after inputting a code that comes with the Black, Master Assassin or Complete Editions. Each code is unique and can only be used once. It can also be downloaded along with the Bonfire of the Vanities DLC.

Plot

The objective of the mission is that Ezio (after he kills Francesco de' Pazzi, or at any time after sequence 4) must rescue Lorenzo de' Medici from the Pazzi soldiers that have captured him inside his own palace. The reward for completing this is access to a stash of florins in a strong box.

Trivia

• Access to the courtyard and roof is only possible by using the throwing knives glitch from a nearby view point, though no textures exist inside the courtyard. Also escape is impossible even with the "Climb Leap" technique, so there is no point going into it.
