Animus Hacks are unlockable Cheats in Assassin's Creed II: Discovery, rewarded to a player for getting high synchronization in certain memories. They can only be used in memories that have already been completed by an ancestor. This is the first example of cheats within the Assassin's Creed series, but cheats are available again in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations once you 100% synchronize a DNA sequence to unlock the corresponding cheat. In the Assassin's Creed: Revelations Multiplayer, hacks are also unlocked by kill and loss streaks.

List of Animus Hacks

Faster Synchronization Regeneration (300 points required to unlock)

This hack allows Desmond Miles to regain lost synchronization with Ezio Auditore da Firenze much faster than normal.

Antonio de Magianis Disguise (600 points required to unlock)

Like the outfits in Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, this hack allows the Animus to swap out Ezio's "skin" for that of Antonio.

No Radar Mode (900 points required to unlock)

This hack enables the player to play through sequences with no radar or map to aid them which proves troublesome in stealth missions.

Fast Wall Climb (1,300 points required to unlock)

This hack gives Ezio a faster wall climbing ability which highly increases the speed of scaling walls.

Spanish Assassin Disguise (1,700 points required to unlock)

This hack allows the Animus to swap out Ezio's "skin" for that of a generic Spanish Assassin.

Hard Mode (2,100 points required to unlock)

This hack makes Desmond lose more synchronization than normal when Ezio takes damage.

Unlimited Throwing knives (2,500 points required to unlock)

This hack gives Ezio an infinite amount of throwing knives.

Raphael Sanchez Disguise (2,900 points required to unlock)

This hack allows the Animus to swap out Ezio's "skin" for that of Raphael Sanchez.

Ted Mode (3,300 points required to unlock)

This hack turns all generic guards and soldiers into brutes and you have no map or radar to guide you.

Guard Captain Disguise (3,800 points required to unlock)

This hack allows the Animus to swap out Ezio's "skin" for that of a guard captain. However, this hack has no impact on the game mechanics and Social Stealth.

Super Stealth (4,300 points required to unlock)

This hack allows Ezio to never be detected by guards.
