New Hampshire is a state located in the north-eastern region of the United States, in the area known as New England. New Hampshire is bordered by Massachusetts to the South, Vermont to the West, and Maine to the North.
The colony of New Hampshire was one of the thirteen colonies that claimed independence from Great Britain during the American Revolution.
