Muhammad XII (c. 1460 – c. 1533) was the King of Granada between 1487 and 1492. Muhammad was an ally of the Assassins and remained in contact with them, despite each having contrasting views.
During the Spanish Inquisition, Muhammad was captured by the Templars and held within the besieged Alhambra palace. In doing this, the Templars prevented the Moors from surrendering to the Spanish, causing the war to drag on.
