Messenger's Boots

The Messenger's Boots were a pair of boots which originally belonged to Heremos, an informant of the Athenian general Kleon.

In 431 BCE, the misthios Kassandra recovered the boots from Heremos' body, which she found hanging from a crane in the Mt. Pentelikos Marble Quarry.[1]
