Manuel Palaeologos.

Manuel Palaeologos (1455 - 1512) [citation needed] was an heir to the Byzantine throne before the Byzantine Empire rumbled, and had mysterious ties with the Templar Order.[1]

After Ezio Auditore da Firenze arrived in Constantinople, he tasked himself with finding out wether Palaeologos' true loyalty laid with the Byzantines or with the Templars.[2]
