An Lushan (Chinese: 安禄山; c. 703 – 757) was a general in the Tang dynasty who rebelled against Emperor Xuanzong.
His conflict with Yang Guozhong, another member of the Order of the Ancients, eventually he unleashes An Lushan Rebellion. In doing so, he established himself as Emperor of a new state, Yan.
