Lucius Mummius Achaicus (fl. 2nd century BCE) was a Roman statesman and general who lived during the 2nd century BCE.
In 146 BCE, Mummius led an army to besiege Korinth during the Achaean War. As retaliation for their rebellion, Mummius killed all the male inhabitants and sold the women and children into slavery, then burned the city down.[1]
