Longbow

The Longbow was a predator bow used in England during the 9th century, once used by soldiers from the former 7th century Kingdom of Lindsey, which was later absorbed into Northumbria. Despite being two centuries old, the bow still proved deadly when used.

During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this bow from a chest in the Old Lincoln Sewers, Lincolnscire.[1]
