The livre was the main currency used throughout the Kingdom of France and the subsequent First French Republic following the French Revolution of 1789.[1]
History
In 2014, during the Assassin-affiliated Helix Initiate's Animus session reliving Arno Dorian's memories during the French revolution the Animus HUD incorrectly attributed the symbol of the livre as the French franc's currency symbol ₣, whereas it should have been ₶. A reason for the mishap was never identified nor is it known to have been patched.[1]
