Emperor Xuanzong of Tang (Chinese: 唐玄宗; 685 – 762), born Li Longji (Chinese: 李隆基) was Emperor of China from 713 to 756.
In the first 30 years of his reign, he credited to bring Tang dynasty to the pinnacle of culture and power.
In the later period of his reign, he over-trusted Yang Guozhong and An Lushan. It led to the Anshi Rebellion that lasted 8 years.
