The Leviathan was a legendary heavy blade found in Egypt during the first century BCE. Inspired by the mythical sea monster, the blade was unique in shape, but just as deadly as its namesake.
During the reign of Ptolemy XIII, the Leviathan was in the possession of Felix Martialis, the owner of the Krokodilopolis Arena. After the Medjay Bayek of Siwa entered the competition and beat the former champions, the Gallic brothers Diovicos and Viridovix, for once and all, Bayek received the Leviathan as a reward.[1]

Behind the scenes
The model of the Leviathan, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, was recycled as the model of the Ceremonial Scythe, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and its kind.
